Our work continues to teach us, push ounces of confidence and pride in what we do.
This is the story of how I successfully collaborated with Godrej for their Online Conclave 2022, focused on Work Life, Employee Excellence, and Reward & Recognition.
Godrej, a renowned name in the corporate world, approached me with this task: They wanted to create an unforgettable takeaway for their employees participating in the Online Conclave.
The objective was to emphasize the importance of work-life balance and acknowledge employee excellence.
One gift that did it all.
What we proposed:
A Hamper Bag that would be distributed pan India. We carefully chose each item in the bag, ensuring its relevance and usefulness in enhancing work-life balance.
- Jute Bag: As a symbol of sustainability and versatility, the Jute Bag served a dual purpose. It was not only a stylish accessory but also a practical Tiffin Bag for employees to carry their meals.
- Air Dopes: We thought, what could help them relax between tasks and after a hectic day? This was the answer, allowing employees to focus better with their favourite music, get pumped or even unwind with podcasts.
- Plants: To promote an eco-friendly mindset and signify growth and positivity, we added a vibrant plant to the hamper. We wanted to serve a reminder of resilience and prosperity.
- Certificate: We also designed a classic certificate to commemorate the employee’s excellence and contributions. A traditional choice, but goes a long way in reminding the employees that they are seen, acknowledge and motivated – to inspire individuals to continue on their pursuit.
- Planner: Nothing like a good ol’ planner to help employees stay on top of their schedules and make important notes, ensuring they stay focused and productive.
- Chocolates: It was an occasion to celebrate for the company. We wanted something to sweeten the tongue and the soul. We chose the most delightful bunch to add a touch of sweetness to employees’ lives, reminding them to indulge in small joys and celebrations.
The roadblocks in the way: Ensuring safe delivery.
One of the significant challenges we faced was ensuring that the hamper reached its recipient intact, especially with the delicate plant inside.
We took extra precautions to ensure the safe transportation of the hampers to their respective destinations, while opting for a reliable courier service.
Our meticulous packaging techniques and robust quality control processes ensured that the hamper arrived in pristine condition. (Worth losing a few nights’ sleep over it!)
We brainstormed quite a bit to ensure we didn’t waste resources, while also keeping in mind timely and safe delivery.
The Outcome: Smiles and Loads of Appreciation!
The hampers reached safely, across cities.
Often, the complexity of a gift hamper can make logistics difficult. There may be times companies would even have to let go of a brilliant idea because logistics support it.
But we held on to it. Godrej wanted something, and we didn’t want to deny it without trying our best. The packaging was indeed a challenge, given the reach they wanted and the delicate items in the hamper.
And again, what’s out of the box and creative when it doesn’t find new solutions, right?
